Summary:

"September 25th -26th 2017

The Future of Philosophical Interpretation, Open Access, and Hypermedia Platforms: Nietzsche, Wittgenstein, Arendt

A one-day event on challenges and prospects of Open-Access and semantic web work on the corpi of philosophers, using Wittgenstein, Nietzsche, and Hannah Arendt as exemplars.  Nietzsche and Wittgenstein, with their disparate manuscripts and correspondence, are the first major European philosophers to have had their Nachlass digitized and subjected to hypertext analysis by a large group of experts. Prof. Alois Pichler (Univ. of Bergen, director of the 'Wittgenstein Source' project) and Thomas Bartscherer ('Nietzsche Source' project, director, Bard’s 'Language and Thinking' program (http://languageandthinking.bard.edu/), working on Arendt’s papers) have accepted."
