"We are seeking an enthusiastic Open Access Adviser to join a small team ensuring that University research publications meet the requirements of Research Council and HEFCE policies. The role holder will advise academic authors on policy requirements, will support them through the associated processes, and will manage applications for funding to support the publication of research outputs through the author pays 'Gold' OA route.

The successful applicant will have extensive experience of supporting Open Access publishing within a UK University and a thorough knowledge of publishing workflows and funder guidelines. They will have strong communication skills, be confident in engaging with the research community, and will be able to work closely with academic colleagues expressing complex issues clearly and concisely."
