Summary:

"The Open Educational Resources (OER) Pilot Project is an initiative to provide institutional support for academic staff to adopt or adapt OERs in their courses, allowing the best possible learning resources available for students at a low cost.

The OER Pilot allows academic staff to submit a proposal to receive a grant of up to $4,000 that can be used to embed OER resources in a course over the 2017-18 academic year. Proposals will be accepted until August 16, 2017, with a total of 10 selected. OER grant recipients will be supported by the OER team at the Educational Development Unit in the Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning. Progress on the pilot projects will be showcased in March 2018, during Open Education Week at the University of Calgary."
