"The Electrochemical Society is a nonprofit, independent, publisher hosting OpenCon in conjunction with its 232nd meeting in National Harbor, MD. Our event is completely free to attend but we would greatly appreciate any donation, all the proceeds of which will go toward our campaign for complete open access and open science scholarly communications tools!
ECS's OpenCon will have a line-up of an opening reception, lightning talks, break-out sessions, a panel discussion, and an after-conference gathering for networking. Our speakers come range from The Gates Foundation to data scientists. Some of the topics discussed will be: Open in Government, Open in Industry, Open Access, and Open Data. We hope you can make it!
