Findable, Accessible, Interoperable? Reusable?

lterrat's bookmarks 2017-08-23

Summary:

"After many hours discussing the best ways to achieve FAIR data, the group settled at a point. We are not proposing this as a solution. We are proposing this as a starting point for conversation. We felt that we could award the following badges with the appropriate resources:

  • Data that is FAIR for humans
  • Data that is FA for machines

What do you think? We would love to hear your thoughts on how a solution could and should be achieved here. We will continue to develop services (see more on solutions in the space at https://dataverse.org/blog/comparative-review-various-data-repositories#.WXe7gNfdSnc.twitter) for funders, institutions and publishers with the goal of creating infrastructure that supports data that can be as FAIR as possible."
