Unlocking Access to Information Resources – Digital Social Contract

lterrat's bookmarks 2017-08-27

Summary:

"Australian Intellectual Property Law is complex and hard to understand. Those in the general public don’t always have the knowledge they need to exercise their legal rights. Information, factsheets and textbooks, are often expensive to access or are written with a particular viewpoint or audience in mind. This is a problem that we (a research team from Queensland University of Technology) are trying to overcome by creating accessible, high quality, and free public resources.

Our project seeks to bring together academic experts, advocacy groups and public representatives to collaborate on the creation of resources — accessible resources on Australian Intellectual Property law."
