"STEM Fall Workshop: Understanding Research Data Management and Public Access Mandates In 2013, The Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) issued a policy memorandum to Federal agencies, such as the NIH and NSF, to develop plans to make the results of federally funded research freely available to the public. Researchers who apply for funding with these agencies are expected to make the results of their research publicly available, whenever possible, as a condition of funding. This workshop will provide strategies for making publications and datasets publicly available in a way that meets and exceeds federal funder public access mandates. Please bring your laptops."
