Open science mini symposium and workshops by NIOO, DANS and UvA - Dutch

"DANS and the Dutch Institute for Ecology (NIOO) are committed to open science and organize together with the Institute for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Dynamics of the University of Amsterdam a mini-symposium and various workshops on open science, data and tools in ecological and evolutionary research. Open science is one of the most recent recent developments in science and is high on the agenda of research institutes, universities and researchers of scientific research. Significant intellectual efforts and amounts have now been invested in open data, accessible tools and e-infrastructures, open source ICT projects and publicly available scientific publications. However, not all disciplines of science catch these developments as quickly as possible."
