Discussion on the draft of EOSC Strategic Implementation Plan 2017-2020 at the Ministry of Education and Science : OpenAIRE blog

"As a follow up of OpenCon Lithuania 2017 on 23 October and in relation to the presentation by the Commission on EOSC given at the 6th ERAC Standing Working Group on Open Science & Innovation on 25 October, Ausra Gribauskiene, representing the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Point of Reference for OA, invited different stakeholders for an informal discussion on national aims and vision with reference to the draft of EOSC Strategic Implementation Plan 2017-2020. The aim of the meeting held at the Ministry of Education and Science on 6 November was to review the inventory of OS-related structures in the country and to discuss their future in relation to EOSC. Adviser to the Minister of Education and Science professor Eugenijus Butkus,  Vice Chair of the Research Council of Lithuania professor Ruta Petrauskaite, representatives of the national repositories (LiDA – Dr Vaidas Morkevicius, MIDAS – professor Gintautas Dzemyda, Dr Zibute Petrauskiene and Irena Kriviene), representatives of the Lithuanian Research and Education Network (LITNET) Raimundas Tuminauskas and Marijus Jurgutis, representatives of the Research and Higher Education Monitoring and Analysis Centre (MOSTA), the Division of Science at the Ministry of Education and Science, and the Lithuanian OpenAIRE NOAD took part at the meeting."
