"Press release - Stefan cel Mare University in Suceava Monday, 20 Nov 2017, 15:04  •  RELEASES 51 views Sucevean University Laurenţiu Dan Milici represented Romania at an important scientific event in Zagreb - Croatia Between 6 and 7 November 2017, held in Zagreb, Croatia, the TTO Meeting from Central and South East European Countries - 'Working Together' on the Use of the Internet : Benefit or Challenge for Academic Institutions, organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Education of Croatia and the State Office for Intellectual Property of the Republic of Croatia. The event brought together 30 representatives of the European technical universities, including Prof. Dr. Eng. Laurenţiu Dan Milici from "Ştefan cel Mare" University of Suceava. The debates were focused on the theme Open Science, a new concept that started in the university environment as a movement that allows full and free access to scientific research, experimental data, developed software, as well as their dissemination to all levels of societies, amateurs and professionals. The discussions focused on researchers' competencies in relation to the Open Science concept, so that they can manage information, conduct research, and engage in community life."
