"At its meeting on 9 May 2018, the Federal Council laid down the first parameters of its data policy and measures related to open data and data portability. Open Government Data (OGD) is one of the pillars of a data policy in Switzerland. With the OGD strategy, the Federal Council wants to provide government data for free reuse promote transparency of administrative activities and increase administrative efficiency. The OGD Strategy 2014-2018 is currently being revised."
