Science Europe criticises EP vote on copyright - ERA Portal Austria

Science Europe, an association of European Research Funding Organisations (RFO) and Research Performing Organisations (RPO) based in Brussels, has expressed its disappointment with the vote of the European Parliament on copyright, claiming that the European Parliament did not sufficiently improve what Science Europe calls "the far too restrictive proposal" by the European Commission for text and data mining in Article 3 of the new Directive on Copyright.
