"Federal Minister of Justice Katarina Barley firmly believes that the EU copyright reform requires the use of upload filters. In doing so, she advocates digital politicians and network activists who vigorously criticize the reform. "I know of no other technical measures that could be used to prevent licensing violations, so it goes on upload filter addition," said the SPD politician on Friday in Brussels.

The Federal Government of the CDU, CSU and SPD rejects the mandatory use of such filters in the coalition agreement actually as disproportionate, agreed to the reform compromise at European level but still."
