Summary:

From Google's English:

"The 47-year-old Canadian-British author Cory Doctorow is the most famous face of the US civil rights organization Electronic Frontier Foundation, which is committed to liberalizing copyright . On the sidelines of the South by Southwest tech conference in Austin, Doctorow talked about the dispute over the EU's copyright reform. A new guideline is to oblige platforms such as Google to obtain licenses for all protected works that their users want to upload. Critics warn that the rules would commit the platforms to so-called upload filters, which will scan every post and, in case of doubt, block it before it is uploaded."
