Colloque Science Ouverte au Sud : enjeux et perspectives pour une nouvelle dynamique – Dakar 23-25 octobre 2019 (Open Science Symposium in the South: Challenges and Prospects for a New Dynamic - Dakar 23-25 October 2019)

"For information professionals, representatives of research institutions, research policy organizations, and researchers themselves wishing to share their data and publications, this symposium aims to facilitate dialogue between all stakeholders on the issues of open science. It will present national, regional, international or local incentive policies as well as feedback and practical cases to encourage or infuse new dynamics in favor of open science.

It will focus particularly on research in Southern French-speaking countries around the following sessions: 

● Issues of Open Science in the South and in Southern French-speaking Countries, 

● Open Science Movement: State of Play and Policies, 

● How to do open science? Methodology and tools, 

● Feedback.

This conference is co-organized by IRD, CIRAD and Cheikh Anta Diop University. The conference is part of the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of the IRD. "
