"At the end of August, the project DEAL signed a memorandum of understanding with the scientific publishing house Springer Nature, which outlines the cornerstones of a future contract. This is expected to be signed and published in autumn. The future agreement will make more than 13,000 publications in Springer journals in Germany open access per year."
