Open Access Journals of De Gruyter, Journal-Level Influence Index Presence and Coverage Variation Across Metrics | Open Science

External data indicate that, between 2014 and 2018, the Open Access journal portfolio of De Gruyter has more than tripled its cumulative publishing output based on the information from the Scopus database for the preceding three years. Moreover, the current portfolio of Open Access journals, such as Open Physics, has been predominantly constituted in the period 2014 and 2018, as only 17 journals have been launched in the years 2003-2013. Whereas only 6 Open Access journals have been launched in 2014, in 2015 their number has more than tripled to 19. This pace has not been sustained in the years 2016-2018 that saw only 13 new Open Access journals added to this portfolio, even though in 2019 17 new titles have already been launched.
