Research funders pledge financial support for open access office - ERA Portal Austria

The European Science Foundation will host and operate a newly established office to support the implementation of Open Access publishing. The initiative will  be implemented in partnership with cOAlition S, an international consortium of research funders striving for immediate open access to research publications. To date, 10 funders, including national funding agencies and philanthropic organisations, will provide financial support of over €2 million for this activity.
