Summary:

The French Advisory Board for Research Integrity (CoFIS) has issued a statement RESEARCH INTEGRITY, OPEN SCIENCE AND THE COVID-19 CRISIS.

In the statement it reads that of the many lessons of this crisis is that it will have confirmed the urgent need to stabilize the foundations of fully responsible open science practices, under conditions shared with the media, decision-makers and ultimately the society as a whole. This is one of the tasks tackled by the French Office for Research Integrity (OFIS) and its board, together with its European counterparts and in the context of the current international reflection on research integrity.
