Summary:

[From Google tranlsate] Anti Double Dipping Alliance : fifteen open-access academic book providers launch an alliance to prevent purchases of the same title in more than one business model

The rise of open access as a new business model for books poses new challenges to libraries, publishers and suppliers alike, and may lead to a lack of transparency leading to unwanted duplication of procurement. That's why fifteen vendors and platform providers in the academic publishing market have formed the Anti-Double Dipping Alliance, a coalition against double dipping for transparency in open-access book publishing. The group has been driven by an initiative of Knowledge Unlatched (KU), the central platform for sustainable open access (OA) financing models, which aims to prevent the unwanted acquisition of book titles through different systems. The alliance is made up of KU partners such as Delbanco, Dietmar Dreier, JSTOR, Knowledge Unlatched, LM Information Delivery, LYRASIS, Missing Link, OAPEN, Project MUSE.
