The library's patrimony is vast: the oldest texts date back to the 4th century and consist of more than four thousand documents of inestimable value. It would include codes and documents in several languages (Greek, Hebrew, Armenian, Syriac, Coptic, Georgian) and also the oldest Bible in history. It is therefore not surprising that it is of lesser value only to the Vatican Apostolic Library. Some of the texts that came from this library are already on display in some very important museums worldwide.
