"Research Software and Knowledge Engineer (2 posts) Applications to be received before 12.00 midday on Wednesday 31 January 2018 Grade 7: £31,604 - £38,833 with a discretionary range to £42,418 p.a.

We are seeking two full-time Research Software and Knowledge Engineers to join a team of eight members, led by Professor Sansone, at the Oxford e-Research Centre, Department of Engineering Science (Oxford centre). The posts are for a fixed 2 years term with a possibility of extension.

The successful candidates will work closely with other research software and knowledge engineers and external collaborators, contributing towards several infrastructure projects set to deliver Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR) data and digital assets.

In this varied, engaging and challenging role the two successful candidates will provide technical knowledge, software and knowledge engineering, as well as leadership ability to a growing portfolio of data and knowledge management projects funded by the UK Research Councils, Wellcome Trust, EU, USA National Institute of Health (NIH) and related pharma-funded projects. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work in multi-partners projects with and for researchers, service providers, pre-competitive informatics initiatives and data journals in the life and biomedical sciences to support and promote the data reproducibility agenda...."
