"Yes ! The idea is already there, and I believe that between “regular” python notebooks and julia notebooks, science education can be way more interactive than it was before. Notebooks are already used in some courses available on coursera and edX. Some derivatives are also extremely nice, like grok for example.

The second, and major (at least from my point of view) point is that yes, you can go through the pain of installing your own jupyter/julia server, somewhere … and then maintain it over time and finally use it between two updates. Ok, I am pushing it a bit but if you ever had to maintain a server (and associated applications running on it), you know exactly what I’m talking about.

OR … You can just use one of the free solution available on the cloud – out of the box. For example:..."
