This is an ongoing informal survey of open access policies in the gallery, library, archive and museum
(GLAM) sector. It examines how GLAMs make data – whether digital objects, metadata or text –
available for re-use. The survey is intended to be a starting point for people who want to find and use
open collections or data. It may also serve as a resource for GLAMs exploring open access data and
policy development. Survey results are shared in this regularly updated Google Sheet.
Scope
The survey covers data which GLAMs make available on their websites and/or external platforms such
as Github, Europeana and the German Digital Library. ..."
