Alek Tarkowski is co-founder and president of Centrum Cyfrowe , an organization that works for, among other things, open education in Poland. He is also a co-founder and co-ordinator of Creative Commons Poland and a member of Communia , a European initiative designed to advance the digital commons and engage in appropriate copyright reforms.
