CIRED welcomed Odile Contat (InSHS, CNRS) and Karim Ramdani (Inria) for a 3-step program: - Odile Contat presented the basics and fundamentals of free access and placed them in the current context (Law for a Digital Republic, Plan S, social networks,...)

- Karim Ramdani referred to the economic models in use in scientific publishing, gave an overview of current developments (in particular the many risks associated with the author-pays model) and launched some ideas so that each researcher can, in his daily work (as author, rapporteur, publisher or evaluator), adopt better practices and contribute to the emergence of alternative solutions.
