Summary:
"Last week I attended a conference at the University of Leicester on electronic theses and dissertations, organised by the Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD). Since 2011, LSE Theses Online has been collecting, archiving, and exposing theses awarded a doctorate at the LSE. The 800 theses currently deposited on LSE Theses Online are extremely popular with over a quarter of a million downloads to date. As a result of our digitisation project with ProQuest, the thesis collection will soon grow to nearly 3,000. In this post, I wanted to highlight two of many interesting themes discussed at this conference: open access, and identifiers (a full-ish record of ‘live’ notes taking whilst
