"The Energy Department has launched a new web portal to increase public access to scholarly publications and digital data generated by department-funded research. The Public Access Gateway for Energy and Science, or PAGES, portal will provide free access to peer-reviewed manuscripts or scientific journal articles within a year of publication, DOE officials said in a press release. As the site grows, it will include access to DOE-funded authors' manuscripts hosted by the department's national laboratories and grant institutions as well as publishers' public access offerings ..."
