GLOBAL OPEN KNOWLEDGE HUB (GOKH)

Summary:

"To contribute to the UK Government’s Open Data initiative by developing a digital data hub, established by the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), that will make international development research more available, accessible and re-usable. Three knowledge and information services managed by IDS - British Library for Development Studies, Eldis online portal and BRIDGE gender services - will input to, and draw content from, the hub so that it can be communicated to a variety of audiences across the world (e.g. researchers, policy-makers, development practitioners, journalists). Editorial support and technical innovations will enable partners (particularly those in the global South) to source and upload content into the hub and to draw out and present relevant content on their own websites. Success indicators include: increased use of IDS’s knowledge and information services; the amount of content contained in the hub; and the number of partners uploading or drawing content"
