"We are pleased to announce that PeerJ articles are now appearing in both PubMed and PubMed Central (the free ‘full text’ archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature from the U.S. National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) National Library of Medicine (NLM)). As a result, PeerJ articles will now start receiving PMID’s and PMCID’s. This follows our previous announcement that PeerJ had been accepted for indexing into PubMed Central and PubMed.  Additionally, PeerJ articles are also indexed in Scopus and Google Scholar, and are under evaluation at the Web of Science (which has a longer evaluation time) ..."
