Statisticians unveil first-ever set of open access data portals in Rwanda

"Kigali: Researchers and policy-makers can now access statistical information via a new set of data portals dedicated to disseminate national indicators about Rwanda, RNA has reliably learnt.   With these innovative ICT tools, researchers argue that it will henceforth be easy for users to access all available statistics and metadata which facilitates their own analysis or relevant interpretations. According to officials in Kigali during the launch of the new platforms, the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) is especially planning to enhance statistical dissemination and improve the use of statistics to support evidence-based decision making as one of its key objectives ...
