"In the past, books and other scripts were read and written by just scholars and were inaccessible to the general public. With the advancement of technologies like the printing press and introduction of spaces like public libraries, the general public was able to access books, discuss them and help each other understand them. But again, we have a situation where an important part of human knowledge is inaccessible by the general public. PeerLibrary aims to use digital technologies to bring knowledge in academic publications to everyone by facilitating a digital space for a global community of people to discuss and help each other understand academic publications. In one sentence, describe your idea as simply as possible. PeerLibrary is a digital public library which makes academic knowledge accessible by the general public through collaborative reading and discussions ..."
