PubMed Central Article Deposit | OSU Libraries | Oregon State University

Summary:

"The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Public Access Policy requires researchers with NIH funding to submit journal articles resulting from those funds to PubMed Central, a free digital archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature.  Articles that result from funding must have PMCIDs (PubMed Central IDs) assigned to them, not just PMIDs (PubMed IDs). In order to help faculty meet this requirement and the OSU Open Access policy terms, the library has instituted a PubMed Central and ScholarsArchive@OSU article deposit service that will place articles in both repositories. Please help us help you. NIH funding is being withheld because publications are not compliant. Authors can submit their articles using a simple form and the library will ensure that the articles are available in the appropriate repositories. More information about what the library requires in order to do this work is available at this OSU PubMed Central Article Deposit website.   More information about NIH compliance can be found here: http://publicaccess.nih.gov/FAQ.htm."
