Celebrating Open Access WeekKnowledge Management

"Open Access week is with us! From 20 to 26 October 2014, researchers and academics all over the world will be marking the Open Access Week, the main purpose of which is to raise awareness on Open Access issues and inspire greater participation. CIAT will take part in this year’s celebrations as part of our continuous efforts to raise awareness of Open Access matters at CIAT and in the realm of research for development, as this very much relates to the way we disseminate our research results these days to seek greater impact. We will join the rest of the world by virtually participating in the webcast of the Open Access Week launch event hosted by SPARC and the World Bank in Washington DC on 20 October 2014. A forum will follow the webcast of the launch to discuss Open Access issues at CIAT. A special Open Access webpage has also been set up that will continue to provide useful information on innovative ways throughout the week and beyond ..."
