"International Open Access Week is October 20-24, 2014 so the Criss Library has selected this week to announce its full financial support for UNO scholars who wish to publish in open journals.  To encourage the University community to publish their research in open access platforms, we are pleased to announce that the Criss Library and the Office of Research and Creative Activity (ORCA) have established a fund to finance payment of article processing fees for UNO authors who wish to publish in open access journals ... Informational sessions on Open Access publishing and the UNO funding will be held in Criss library Faculty Study on Wednesday, October 22 at 3:00 p.m. and Friday, October 24 at 11:00 a.m. ..."
