"This year, we’ve asked several ASU professors to share their thoughts about open access publishing. Our first interview is with Dr. Devoney Looser. Dr. Looser is Professor of English at ASU, teaching courses in eighteenth- and nineteenth-century British literature, women’s writings, and the novel. She is Past President of the Midwest Modern Language Association and has served on the Board of Directors of the Jane Austen Society of North America. Dr. Looser recently completed three-year terms on the Advisory Committee of PMLA (Publication of the Modern Language Association) and the MLA’s Program Committee. She is currently serving an elected five-year term on its Age Studies Forum Executive Committee. Dr. Looser also sits on the advisory boards of seven scholarly journals ..."
