Summary:

"Spanish researchers from the non-profit organization The Society for the Improvement of Science (SACSIS), whose president is Dr. David Alcantara Parra (scientist and PhD in Chemistry), have launched a crowdfunding campaign to collect enough money to strengthen a publication system focused on scientific negative results. The campaign will produce several benefits:  it will enable the faster, safer development of new drugs, the discovery of new sources of sustainable energy, and  technological and economic improvement in all areas of Science. This will in turn increase people's long term quality of life. The specific objective of this campaign is to promote and improve ‘The All Results Journals’, a set of 4 scientific journals with Total Open Access format focused on publishing negative results and published by SACSIS. Developing an editorial system of negative results will bring with it a significant saving of effort and money for scientists, who will be able to avoid repeating unsuccessful experiments that have already been conducted. Thanks to ‘The All Results Journals’, researchers have free access to a huge amount of experiments and studies which gave negative results, and this allows them to focus on finding faster solutions to the many problems in our society. Through this crowdfunding campaign, SACSIS hopes to collect 32000€, in four 8000€ stages. The money will be invested in improving and growing the four specialised journals: Biology and Biomed, Chemistry, Physics and Nanotechnology ..."
