RLUK Joins the Directory of Open Access Journals - Research Libraries UK

"RLUK is pleased to announce that it has become a consortial member of the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) on behalf of all RLUK members. The DOAJ gives details of over 10,000 open access journals covering all areas of science, technology, medicine, social sciences and the humanities and allows article-level searching for almost 2 million open access articles. ‘From its launch in 2003 the Directory of Open Access Journals quickly became a vital resource for researchers, librarians and publishers’, said David Prosser, Executive Director of RLUK. ‘It has charted the explosive growth in open access journals and helped to raise standards in open access publishing.
