Summary:

"The CIRAD publications database, Agritrop (http://agritrop.cirad.fr/), was recently converted into an institutional open repository. With more than 90 000 references, 20 000 full-text documents including 12 000 documents freely accessible on the Internet, this new version gives CIRAD's publications greater visibility, particularly co-publications by CIRAD and its Southern partners on agricultural research and rural development. Agritrop is based on the EPrints open source software. It relies on norms and protocols (such asDublin Core and OAI-PMH) which will enable metadata exchanges with other databases such as Agris (FAO) or OpenAire (EU).  CIRAD is the French agricultural research and international cooperation organization working for the sustainable development of tropical and Mediterranean regions."
