The agreements with the world's leading scientific publisher, Elsevier, as we disclosed last year, cover a significant amount: € 172 million over five years. On this manna, Elsevier exudes a margin to make Google or Apple jealous: nearly 40% of profit. Perhaps a law about to change that. Article No. 17 of the digital law provides for a special regime for scientific articles: after a period of six to twelve months, the rights of the publisher disappear in part ..."
