"The clock is ticking. On 1st April 2016 HEFCE’s policy for open access in the next REF takes effect. Oxford’s message to its researchers is Act on Acceptance: deposit your accepted papers into our repository ORA within three months of acceptance. Many thanks to all who’ve already started to #actonacceptance. How many deposits so far? Between August 2015 and January 2016 an impressive total of 2572 deposits came in. Very well done to the ORA team on dealing with a tenfold increase in deposits over this 6-month period. Special praise too to the departments who’ve deposited the most. Top of the league for each Division are: Nuffield Dept of Medicine (Medical Sciences), Physics (Mathematical and Physical Sciences), Geography & the Environment (Social Sciences) and Oriental Studies (Humanities).
