[From Google's English] "From 2 to 4 May, the Association of the Scientific assortment and specialized bookstores convenes (AWS) in Bensheim - the motto is: 'Development jointly make - perspectives and practice'. On the AWS meeting is loud announcement about the question: Where do Open Science and Open Access? Under the direction of Prof. Dr. AlexanderGrossmann (HTWK) discuss introduction Cary Bruce (EBSCO), Dr. Sven Fund(full stop), Dirk Pieper (Bielefeld University Library) and Dr. Xenia van Edig(Copernicus) on the future of scientific publishing and impact on the industry participants.  Speakers from the publishing, library and book trade practice talk about their experiences, new business ideas and offers. Fraser Tanner , a colleague from the UK, gives an insight into the development of the British Booksellers Federation and used payment and settlement system Batch.  Complete program and registration on the AWS site.
