"The Idiap Research Institute has developed what they call the 'ultimate Biometric Testing platform' in the context of its BEAT project. After four years of development, the BEAT platform is now available for download as an open-source project, under the Affero GNU GPL version 3. In a post on LinkedIn, Sebastien Marcel, senior research scientist at Idiap wrote: 'It is an European computing e-infrastructure for Open Science proposing a solution for open access, scientific information sharing and re-use including data and source code while protecting privacy and confidentiality.' The platform is operational and the user guide is also available online ..."
