OAPEN-UK was a collaborative research project funded by JISC and the AHRC. It gathered evidence to help make informed decisions on the future of open access scholarly monograph publishing in the humanities and social sciences. The OAPEN-UK guide helps researchers to understand open access in the UK today, and what this means for current and future authors of scholarly monographs. Open access monographs are becoming a popular way for humanities and social sciences researchers to publish their research. The monograph has always showcased primary research and original scholarship. Open access monographs allow early career researchers to reach wider audiences, increasing their employability and academic reputation ..."
