"Even so far all relevant public scientific organizations known clearly to Open Access, the open as possible access to publicly funded research. With the new initiative " Open Access 2020 " under the auspices of the Max Planck Society is now open access across the board to be standard ( 'large-scale transition to open access'). The reason for the new initiative is that previous confessions and appropriate. (Also: financial) support for Open Access journals and publications rather slowly despite the switch Retracted Publication paths forcing scientists in most disciplines to in established, not -offenen magazines to publish, if they remain in the science system or want to solicit third-party funds. What counts is the scientific reputation of a journal and not whether their contributions are available online free ... The 'Open Access 2020' initiative will take the transition burden from the shoulders of individual scientists and would like to change" the majority of published today via subscription scientific journals to publish via Open Access (OA) "as described in a press release of the Max Planck society ... The key for switching to Open Access are therefore the libraries ..."
