Open Network Insight and Open Data Model accelerate the development of advanced analytical solutions based on Apache Hadoop | LineaEDP

[From Google's english] 03/23/2016 Cloudera , a global supplier of platform analysis and management of data based on Apache Hadoop , has announced the availability of Open Network Insight (ONI) in collaboration with four major suppliers of solutions in the information security industry.  The Open Network Insight Project (ONI) v1.0 is an open source network data model developed by the community that provides visibility into security threats by providing sensing functions of advanced threats using the big data analysis. ONI uses machine learning as a filter to separate the suspicious network traffic from that harmless and to characterize the unique behavior of network traffic. ONI is flexible and allows any number of vendors to improve the data model opened and develop their innovative applications relying on it. ONI operates on top of the hub enterprise data (EDH) of Cloudera and other big data platforms."
