Summary:

"The Policy Recommendations for Open Access to Research Data in Europe (RECODE) project is addressing the drivers and barriers in developing Open Data Access (ODA) in Europe to draft recommendations for policy. The first workpackage explores stakeholder values and motivations by undertaking a review of policy and related documents, and by conducting 5 case studies that seek to understand ODA in research practice. The case studies are: particle physics; social and clinical research; bioengineering; environmental research; and humanities research ... The aim of the workshop is twofold, it will: 
[1] Present key findings from a review of policy and related documents about Open Access and findings from 5 case studies of research practice.  [2]  Discuss the findings with stakeholders to assess their significance for policy 
development and for research practice ..."
