Summary:

"This half-day, hands-on preconference will build librarians’ capacity as leaders on issues and projects of campus-wide interest that involve scholarly communication, information literacy, and their connections (e.g., data literacy, intellectual property, open access, etc.). With the ACRL Framework and Intersections White Paper as its foundation, this preconference will provide participants with skills and ideas to develop pedagogical strategies that reach students and faculty on a range of scholarly communication issues. The target audience for this workshop is academic librarians with responsibilities related to coordinating and teaching in the areas of scholarly communication and information literacy.  Scholarly communications librarians and information literacy librarians who are interested in partnering are encouraged to attend together."
