DCS now “Publishing and Repository Services” | Libraries News and Information

Summary:

"In April, the name of the Digital Content Services department will change to Publishing and Repository Services. The new name reflects our focus on partnering with the university community to make OSU’s scholarship more visible, and forefronts our two major programs. The Knowledge Bank program supports OSU’s institutional repository and facilitates open access archiving by faculty, staff, students, and academic units across campus. The Libraries’ Publishing Program supports open access digital publishing for scholarly journals and fosters the development of emerging forms of scholarly communication. Our department also consults on topics related to publishing and archiving, and offers educational programming through the Research Commons. Although our primary focus is the university community, we also contribute to the publishing and archiving of Libraries’ content in a variety of ways, including providing metadata and other expertise to the development of our new digital library infrastructure. Contact Maureen Walsh or Melanie Schlosser with questions."
