[From Google's English] "Open access publishing has no negative effect on the sale of books, but the online use and traceability of these books increase significantly. That's the conclusion of researchers who have made at the open access publishing of scientific books. Netherlands for the first time in thorough investigation The final report published yesterday by the OAPEN NL project provides recommendations for research funders, libraries, publishers and authors.  The project OAPEN EN builds on the European OAPEN project which experience has been gained with open access publication of scientific books. OAPEN NL was funded by NWO and the Ministry of Educationthrough the PRIMA Fund (Programme Implementation Agenda ICT Policy). The project was implemented by the foundation OAPEN, in collaboration with NWO, SURF and nine Dutch academic publishers ..."
